I think they modified at some time as I said our 2013 Swift the surround did not butt up tight to window as this caravan does. There was a small gap all around but no insulation showing. I wonder if your caravan has had a new window fitted at some time and the mastic sealing it on is to thick, and causing the gap to allow insulation to protrude,

On all our Swift's with a panoramic window (2012, 14, 16, 18, 22 and current 2024) they've all had the gap but insulation was only visible on a few (including this one). As it's only visible when looking up towards the panoramic window it never bothered me. From memory I did query it with the dealer on one of the earlier caravans during a service but told it was normal. You watch, it'll start to annoy me now going forwards! 🤣

Malky, just to be clear, whereabouts on your window are you seeing the insulation, is it when you look upwards towards the panoramic window or is it the sides?
