HI i have just got a power inverter.does any one know how long i can run a 65 watt electrical item before the battery which is 110 amh would be flat.

In theory 20hrs, but this does not allow for any drop off as the battery discharges.

thanks a lot steve have never used an inverter befor but am going away on a rally and need the power for a medical machine.

3 hours a day so it should be okay for the three days i need it for i hope.......

In theory the 110 battery will cope, however I would suggest you carry a spare battery or a generator asa back up.
