Before I depart I thought I would encourage debate regarding our law enforcement and how effective it is or not depending on your point of view.On the box last night was Car Wars? and some of the incidents were as follows:-

1/ 109 mph but driving ok £500 fine and resit of driving test.

2/ 100+mph serious tailgating but rep needing licence for job given caution!

3/ Car checked contained 2 serious knives and 2 replica guns,caution!

4/ Car stopped 4 bald tyres false details given ,no tax,and suspicious powder in car,caution!

5/ Same car stopped two weeks later all still the same,another caution!

Is it any wonder that there is so much lawlessness (is there such a word)when crime is treated in such a way that the guilty think ,got away with it again,the fine for no insurance if you are fined and not cautioned is often less than the premium so why insure your car,but get hit by an uninsured driver and it is you that counts the cost!

As stated by Mr. Pickwick in Pickwick Papers " My dear sir the law is an ass". I am sure the rank and file police officer must feel very frustrated being on thr front line trying to uphold the law and then the powers that be introduce such goody goody schemes that throws all the PC's good work out of the window.

A lot of the problems can be laid at the C.P.S.

It is probably ruled by liberalist numpties, people who back in the 70s drove Citroen 2cv's with ban the bomb stickers plastered over them. The wacky baccy screwed up their minds.

Could not agree more,I was careful to say law enforcement and not the police,I feel it is more down to central government and their insructions to magistrates etc.
