That are smooth surfaced.
The screwpegs with their serrated surface probably add more resistance in bad weather.

The Isabella storm pegs are long but L shaped adding to security in the ground.
As we are interested in seasonals the pmut be strong and robust enough to remain fastened in the ground no matter what.🤞
it suppose be coming with storm pegs , just making sure I have the right ones for a hardstanding pitch

Do you mean the plastic orange pegs which come with a new Isabella awning, I have found them only suitable for grass
No my storm pegs x2 are ten years old and heavy duty . The other pegs I use are old screwpegs .
Both will go through hard standing with a good wack!

We recently purchased a used Minor Dawn awning of a member on this site, they had only used the awning once but now changed to a motorhome, it is still like new, we tried at Moreton in the Marsh a couple of weeks ago, one of the pole bayonets had a manufacturing fault making it hard to insert, we replaced the fitting about £3.50, very pleased.
