I prefer to drain the caravan's hot water tank when I'm doing a long journey for weight issues. If I stop for an overnight stay I have to refill the tank and then drain it again the following morning if I wish to have water in the taps. As I am setting off on a journey through France which will entail 3/4 overnighters, is it feasible to isolate the hot water tank by using some taps or valves just for the one night stands? I know that I would only have cold water, but that doesn't really matter. Does anyone have any views or ideas? All contributions gratefully received.
