My caravan has been fitted with a Response Alarm at the door. Sadly there is no key for it. Any suggestions on where i could get a replacement?

I would feel safer replacing the alarm with a new one rather than just getting a new key for the old one.

Has the Captains response dated 23/07/2005 at 08:00:27 been censored Mr. Mod? I look forward to his contributions as a lighter note to the questions being asked. Can peoplke not do this on the forum anymore?

YVONNE, like CLIVE i would strongly advice you to change the alarm if the keys have gone missing, you would never settle knowing that somewhere there is a spare key for your van. I am also a little concerned that your insurance may not be too happy if your van was stolen and they found out you had lost the keys for the alarm. best of luck and happy holidays.

john g i did find it a bit difficult to get insurance because i couldnt say that the van was alarmed. however i did get some through the National Farmers Union at a good rate. Nevertheless today's objective is to search for a new alarm.
