What is the fuel consumption like btoh solo and towing?

I plan to tow na Ace Ambassador MPTL 1223kg

I have the 2.2d estate. Its a good tow car, very stable. Solo my economy is low 30's around town, mid 40's on the motorway. Mid to high 20's pulling a 1200kg swift. The 2.0d should be a little bit more economical but just as stable.
