Jaguar x type tow car

I have an X-type 2.2D Estate fitted with a Jag dismountable towbar towing a Abbey Expression and have no problem with the tow bar height when hitched up. I suggest you check your noseweight when you are fully loaded and ready to tow. As a general rule I do not put anything heavy in the front locker, but I have always used this rule no mater what car. If you cannot resolve the issue then I suggest that your rear springs may be a bit weak and you may have to fit spring assisters to resolve the problem I had to do this on a astra deisel estate a few years ago.
