john blow-air heating

can i fit blown-air heating to a carver 3000S heater in my lunar premiere 417 year 1995 and where would i get the parts and imfo on how to fit it and is it hard to do thank you john

Your dealer should be able to supply the parts from Truma

Basically you knock out the disc in the back of the fire casing and the pipe draws hot air from there

You need to plan a route for the ducting and using a hole saw cut holes for the outlets.

The wiring is not very complicated but you need a wall switch/thermostat to operate it.

Have a look here

Perhaps an easier way would be to fit a Carver mk1 Fanmaster, this was originally designed with being a simple to install upgrade in mind.

I can occasionally supply fully overhauled and warranted units at considerable savings on new prices. www.arcsystems.biz

I agree with Gary.

I fitted the first Fanmaster that my dealer had when they came out and you bolt it on the back of the fire casing .

You then have the advantage of blown air on gas and electric.

It was very efficient at 2kw and saved a lot on gas!
