just got a new(old)van

HI everyone i had to sell my old van a few months back and thought i would not return

anyway i have just got a 1990 leda(avondale) cheviot-c

and i cant find any info on it any were it is in very good cond no damp any were but the door for battery is damaged i think i may be able to fix(bodge)this

so wat i am asking is does any one know any info or were i get some for this van & if any one knows of any braekers in west midlands as i cant get a new door for battery box

Sorry I haven't got the information you are looking for, just posting to say welcome back. I remember your post saying you were giving up caravanning, you seemed quite upset about the circumstances of it all. Hopefully all will be problem free and you get the info you need.

Thankyou rob i dont think i will be using it this year i wont to get it all done and we have just had our baby girl so i have booked it it in for a full service at my local caravan dealer just to make sure the gas and elec are all ok thats my main things so i know its safe the rest i can prob do myself i think 🙂
 
Hi Peter, welcome back and congratulations on the birth of your daughter.

You could give Premier Towing a try, they're just down the road from me in Great Bridge off Whitehall Road. They are caravan breakers and are usually helpful but they can be a bit pricey for some items.
 
Thanks mate i will try them i know were it is i have done delivers to the steel place at side of them i was thinking of charnwood caravans in bilston as its them that are going to servive it but i thought i would try to fix the door my self before it goes in to be serviced just to keep the pennies down lol
