kerb weight

Hello

I need some help im new to this caravan game and am looking for our first van.

problem is i can`t find out the correct kerb weight of my car so i can match a van.

The logbook says 1469kg also the seat web site but whattowcar.com

gives the weight as 1569kg.

Car is a Seat Altea XL 2.0lt tdi on a 08 plate.

Any advice please.

Hi Lindsay,

I'm a bit suspect of the information supplied on these web based sites, having been misled in the past.

I would think that the handbook is more reliable but would suggest that the best way to find the weight is to take the car to your local weighbridge.

Hi Lindsay,

The VW Group Publish unladen weight, this does'nt include driver/

tools, not sure if fuel is included in this weight.

EU95/48/EC is what tends tobe used now, this is 3/4 full tank of

fuel.driver/tools(75kg).

As Ron says best go to the weighbridge,i did with the Xtrail and

it was a lot more than Nissan quoted.

I was late for me and i can only use one finger.
