Im thinking about changing my car. I,m looking at the kia carens 2.0 diesel,looks to be a very good car.Any comments?
 
Had one as a hire car in the Summer - undoubtedly one of the worst modern cars I have driven. The engne was reminiscent of the Ford diesel of the early 90's; no power at low revs then a real rush of power until about 3500 revs when it ran completely out of steam. Also, surprisingly little room inside given the size of the car. Not biased against Kias - I regularly hire a Picanto for short journeys and it is great - but the IMHO, the Carens just doesn't cut the mustard.
