We have owned a Carens for almost 3 years and have towed our Ace Awrd Nightstar(5 birth)with it.

I have to say it pulls realy well for a 2.0 138 bhp.It handles well with the van on although occasionaly the front end of the car can feel a little light on occasions, that said our van is quite heavy.What are you going to tow?

I have to keep remebering that I am towing the and watchmy speed.

If you don,t mind me asking, why are you considering the Carens?

we have a elddis avante 362,1100kg max.The reason for the carens is rear storage,and the price with a 7 year transferable warrenty.Will be buying second-hand.

my brother in law tows with an 08 plate carens diesel and he loves it, my sister has purchased a brand new one 2 months ago and tows her avondale with it, she loves it. ive drove the car solo and its a real treat to use so i would have no hesitation in recommending the car, the 7 year warranty is a massive plus point.
 
I'm also about to view the Carens and Sportage to tow my Bailey Ranger 1259 MTPL.

If buying a used model, make sure it's this years as the 7 year warranty only applied to carens models from this year.
