Hi presently own a Ford Focus Estate 1.8TDCI 2008, will be changing it in may/june. Have been looking at the Kia Ceed SW as a towcar.
Max weight of van 1000kg so no issues there, just seeing if anyone else has one or ant views?

hi
I seem to be the only one on this forum with a kia/hyundai 1.6 diesel
We have an I30 estate with the 113 bhp dieals 6 speed, same as the ceed LS i think
We pull a bailey 1200kg gross...brilliant even pulls 6th gear in some circumstances. We opted for the i30 comfort as it was a lot cheaper and had traction control as standard no problems so far.
with either the 5 or 7 year waranty you cant go wrong

Hi
I have a 1.6 petrol Kia ce-ed the car itself is great not had many problems from new but I bought a Lunar Quasar 524 and the salesman said it would be ok.After trying it I was worried about the weight ratio so decided to buy a 4x4 so I bought a 2005 2.0 Hyundai Santa Fe crdt cdx Est wow what a difference the Kia ce-ed is ok for carrying people but no good for towing a caravan

I would not want to pull nearly 100% kerbweight and a largeish van like the quasar..Moral of the storey..dont trust a salesman.
We pull a 1200kg van behind ours...Great nothing wrong with the car...caravan far too big
