Kia ceed sw auto

Hi all

Anyone tow with a Kia ceed sw auto? I’ve got a ceed hatchback and considering my next tow car. I’ve seen mixed reviews of the Kuga with dpf & gear box issues, the insignia has issues with gear boxes also apparently, so I’m thinking of sticking to what I know and staying with a ceed but going for the sw auto which has similar bhp and torque as the 140bhp insignia. The advantage of the Kia’s is the warranty, plus my ceed has not cost me a penny in 3yrs.

I think that the Kia has a "conventional" torque convertor gearbox so wouldn't have any problems akin to Powershift (Ford) or some VAG cars with dry lubricated DSG gearboxes. The other big advantage is Kia's reputation for reliability and the longer warranty than most other makes. Why not give a Stinger a try? Even Clarkson raved about it.

Quite a lot of people rave about them, but equally there are a lot of people having issues, so if it’s 50/50 I’d rather have a decent warranty behind me incase I get a bad egg. Plus I can’t justify the high road tax and not great mpg.
