kia sorento gearbox

i have had to have a new gearbox in my 2 year old manuel sorento after doing 16000 miles, has anyone else had this problem.

im sorry to hear about your problem, i have a 6month old sorrento,auto no 5000miles towing so far no probs so far(touch wood)just wanted to know did you buy it new and if so was the work done under warranty.

My friend's auto box played up at 3 years and it's not used for towing.

yes I got it from new and the repair was done under warranty
