since moving to Australia i find my 2019 2.2 AWD Kia Sorento is not man enough to Tow a lot of Aussie Caravans even though i have a 2000kg towing capacity and a ball weight of 200kg , i was looking at the Jayco Silverline range which is a similar length to the Caravan i had in the UK ,
 
You really need to be looking at SUVs with a 3,500 kg towing limit - judging by their comments on an international forum, the VW Touareg copes reasonably well with Australian caravans which are heavier than UK/EU ones AND need a 10% noseweight - although they have complained that the Touareg's noseweight limit has reduced from 350 to 215 kg over the successive models.
