Knott hitch damper

I have a Luna solar eclipse around 2000 in year and need to find a new hitch damper for any help please

On the side of the damper should be some codes if it is like a standard gas strut, try Googling them. Worth a go.

As you refer to the caravan being aged around year 2000 I assume you aren’t quite sure of its age, there is a way to identify the age using the vin number, look up the 10th character of the vin number then if you Google “identify my caravan age” you’ll get a list of letters that tells you the age.

Good find. However. I would still advise doing the research on any numbers written on the old unit. These are often in the form of length, diameter, meter, extension and newtons. But often much cheaper for the same product.

Or even use a configerator.
