Hi,

we are taking our tourer to the South of England at the start of august but do not have a clue where to go (South west preferably or South Wales)

We have a 1 year old and 4 year old and would ideally like a park which has pools, slides and lots for them to do on the site and local to the park.

Can anyone suggest a park please.

we were thinking of going to a Haven park but don't see the point as we have the tourer - unless you can take tourers to them?

Thanks

Hi Colin,

I'd recommend Hillhead Holiday Park near Brixham, the site where we are now. Our 3 year old loves it and there's plenty to do on site. It would be worth reading through the topic on Hillhead but there is a swimming pool with toddler section, a play area with huge wooden castle and entertainment in the club at night.

We're considering coming back at the beginning of September.

Martin.

We have stayed at Seaview International, Gorran in Cornwall for the last 2 years. There is a heated pool plus toddlers pool on site plus a great kids play are as well. No bar or evening entertainment which for us is a big plus but maybe not so for everyone.

Colin,

Have to agree with Martin, can highly recommend Hillhead, it's a lovely site, very well maintained. We stayed there for 2 weeks last August, and half the time we stayed on site because our kids (8 and 5 yrs at the time) were kept busy with the play park and the pool.

As Martin says, there is more about this site on another thread.

If you fancy Cornwall, we've been to Newperran holiday park, about 5 miles from Newquay. It's an old farm, so pitches are on large fields, centred around a swimming pool and a decent play area.

Let me know if you need anything further!

Lara.
