Hi All

I have booked this site for 3 nights over xmas. Its only 50 miles away from home and I love wales.

Does anybody have any comments on this site?

Recommend local pubs or restaurants?

Hi Ian,

Nice site we have been a few times, easy walk into village spar shop, butchers and bakers all there, good Indian restaurant that do take away at the top of the road .

Close to Llangollen and the pontcysyllte aquaduct plenty to occupy you for three days, have a great time and Merry Christmas.

Hi Ian, Nice site -toilets up to the normal CC standards-walk out of site right into Chirk Castle grounds and up to castle,which is about one and half miles.Good walk on a nice day is from Llangollen back to chirk along the canal (about 7 miles) you can catch a bus to Llangollen at Chirk railway station,about 600 yards from the site and walk back.You can also get the train to Chester.
