We stayed at Stybeck Farm, Thirlmere, Keswick last year. Page 234 of CC sites handbook. Working farm. Not the most selubrious site but ideal for a short break and fabulous location for walking. Site is a working farm and we took our dog with no problems. 2 - 3 miles from Keswick.

Troutbeck Head.

Loads of room . Easy access to all the touristy bits and scenery. One of the best dog walks available through the Forestry Commission land. Our Springers were knackered. Now that's a good dog walk!

Cheers

Apologies Graham for my error. I must learn to proof-read my replies before submitting them in the future.
