Lake Garda region

Hope to visit this region in July. I understand that the area around lake Garda will be busy, but would welcome campsite suggestions to suit a family with teenagers.

When we had our Caravan in 2004 we stayed at Camping Delle Rose at Lazise on the shore of Lake Garda. Their website is;

The site was clean and well run - great for kids. Many people there were from Denmark and German (it is on the edge of the German speaking region of Italy called Alto-Adige.

It is a short drive from Verona and also Gardaland. We hope to return there this year with our tent on our way south.
