San francesco site is on the south end of the lake with a lake frontage.
I would assume those pitches carry a premium.
Like most continental sites not a great deal of space between vans.
Good clean facilities with hand washing sinks, so no need to empty the wardrobe.
If your going out of hi season Acsi cards and camping cheques accepted.
Supermarkets just a short drive away (simply) cheap with some great offers usually on.
Look the site up on line.

Again at the very Southern end on a promintary is Camping Sirmione, Mix of pitches and very near waters edge and easy to reach near Verona. Try camping-sirmione.it
Sirmione is an aincient walled town further North but easily reached by cheap local bus and boat service available to other areas. The site is in the new town but plenty of goods shops and restaurants close to site.

We have been to Camping Fontanelle three times ( From Cardiff) found it had everything we need and local amenities within walking distance in Moniga Del Garda. It is a hillside camp and can be booked through the CC The staff speak perfect english if deciding to book directly. good pool, fab restuarant and access to the lake. Different sized serviced pitches are available will fit most size caravans. Have tried a variety of routes to get there and back usually we take three days to travel each way.
