We are thinking of booking this site for the first 2 weeks in August with our 2 boys aged 10 & 7.

As it is a Castels site we assume it will be up to the usual standards. Is there any reason not to choose this site or does any one have any advice of places to visit nearby? Any thoughts?
 
Went to this site in 2006. Site itself very good but try not to get a pitch near the toilet block/laundry area. We had a young baby and had a bad time with youths hanging around till all hours, playing football on the pitch. We have children and are very tolerant but it drove me mad. We hadn't booked in advance so I suppose had to take what was available.

Thanks for the reply. We had an uneasy feeling from reading between the lines of the few reviews we had found that perhaps this site was not quite up to scratch for a 'Castel'. On all previous Castels sites we have visited, the night time security would have sorted out a problem like you had very quickly. Kids playing football in 'inappropriate places' has become a pet hate of ours as we have suffered this at home in the past and DO NOT want or need it on holiday as well.

Hmmm, perhaps its back to the drawing board.
