We stayed at this site for a week in 2001. The weather was perfect for the whole week - hot, sunny, gentle sea breeze etc.
The pitches are a reasonable size, set amongst mature pine trees. You can use gas bbqs anywhere, but charcoal only in the communal bbqs. The facilities are not ultra modern, but they are clean and functional. Some of the toilets are "squat" type, which we like! The pool is open from 1000-1200 and then 1400 to 1800. A bit strange, but it works. There are three separate pools in a single complex, but no waterslides etc. A lifeguard is on duty at all times.
The site is literally just off the coast road, with a nice sandy beach 10 minutes' walk away. The coastal cycle path passes the site, and if you're feeling fit you can ride for miles in either direction. There is a small shop, and a pizza bar on the site. The local supermarket is nearby. The site is in the middle of a very busy tourist area (think Newquay) and there was noise from a neighbouring site (disco etc) only on the Saturday night - and it stopped around midnight.
On the final morning we left at 0800 to travel to Brittany, knowing that the gate opens at 0800. We were surprised to see night security guards packing up from their post at the gate; we had not realised that we were being protected in this way - very reassuring.
