Unfortunately, I am more the 'small fat elderly' type of Scot that one meets. Also the type whose 30 year old daughter telephones from her journey back from Italy, having watched Scotland lose, and who asks...'Dad, pay day is 2 week away'....? Perhaps??? And of course Dad obliges. What are parents for?

Nevertheless it is back next week fighting the 'yanks'. Good fun.

Well Maureen what do you think of this lot, mind you I liked

the little back side, I had to put my specs on for a better look.lol Regards Liz

Please don't think that I'm anti Scottish or anti Scotch Lad tonight ... to redress the balance here is a pic of two typical Englishmen on a Saturday night out.

Just one question as I am from a quiet rugby leage background

If the two "Gents" in Mikes photo are English then why is one wearing tartan ???

Mock you may but the day of judgement is coming and if I am at the Perly Gates of Heaven before you lot, you will be thrown out to hell and damnation. You mark my words - I have spoken. PS how do you think we keep our hands warm in winter on the mountains of Wales? Why buy gloves when you can have the real thing? What else can we do with the wool now Burberry have pulled out of Wales?

Liz the other day I was referred to as a true gentleman - I would not stoop to lower my position in society by attempting to put such filth on a family orientated forum.

Brian I only wish I was as young as the man in the photo (note I did not say gentleman as it would be an insult to a gentleman). I am probably old enough to be his father and if he was my son I would disown him. Sheep are the dirtiest of all farm animals - they are riddled with worms - that is why they are constantly eating day and night. Liz ask your daughter if she has seen a sheep after slaughter - the worms are fighting to look for food.

Colin I did comment about the sheep, and said that you would not be amused. I dare ask daughter about slaughtering, all I know she makes nice sausages, and hogs pudding, mince.

Brian stop winding up Colin lol Liz

Believe it or not Cris I do like a lamb dinner with mint sauce (mint from the garden). I also prefer New Zealand lamb to Welsh lamb as I reckon Welsh lamb for some reason tastes "wooly". Don't ask me why? In fact I like virtually any meat with the traditional Sunday dinner. Mind you I don't think lamb chops, although very tasty, are good value for money.
