Levelling Twin Axle Caravan

New to Caravanning and have got a year 2000 Swift Conqueror 630 Lux twin axle caravan.

I am looking for advice for what sort of Levellers I need for this as the Flamma ones only seem to be for single axle vans.

Has anyone any ideas ? Advice or info on websites that I can look up concerning levelling a twin axle caravan.

Hi Colin

We have always used the Fiamma blocks (like big bits of Lego that interlock and are stacked as required. We have used them on both single and twin axles. I tried the ramp type briefly on our current single axle but did not get on with it. The lego type blocks give good flexibility and you can also put them under the jockey wheel or legs if you are sloping back to front and the legs are not long enough. The latter is more of a problem obviously with a longer caravan. With a mover we have found that the caravan (both twin and single) will drive itself up on the blocks with no problem as long as it is going up one level at a time. The bad news is I can't find them anywhere on the internet so I suspect the are no longer sold here. I'm hoping to be proved wrong on this as I could do with some more. Good luck with the new hobby. Hi Colin Firstly I must say this is not my idea ist something that has been passed down from Steve in Leo.

Firstly measure the distance between the centre of you first axle and the centre of second axle

(miidle of the wheels)and now two of the large Fiamma levelling

blocks take note of the measurement now to make this work you need to place levelling blocks back to back now space them out to the measurement you took between centres

reverse slowly up and over the first block and your second axle is coming on to the blocks get the other half to watch for level

works for us but be careful.

I have to say Steve now has another idea he uses so he may pop in and update this one
