Lights main and independent

Hi We have a Bailey Pegasus Bologna 2023 model. One thing that confuses us is the side lights shall we say above cupboard etc and toilet will only work if the main lights switch is on hence the down lighters above lounge are on.So if a toilet break is required at night and the main light switch is off*so to turn off the lounge lights)they dont work independently.Any thoughts??

I’m interested. The choice I have is each light has its own switch (about 20), or here is the master. If the master is off all are off and can only be switched on at the master or they’re all on and you have to switch each off individually. My other van you could do both

The "downlighters" are controlled by a switch thats UNDER the high level cupboard on the left hand side looking forwards. It's a small black rocker switch and very easy to not know about !
If you use that to turn off the downlighters you can leave the master light switch on and have the caravan in darkness but be able to use the bathroom lights as yiu wish.
Stupid place for a light switch isn't it? But many Baileys have it (Inc mine)

Got it fabulous thank you,I'll stand corrected but never read or found this in the manual.Once again you saved the day...result!!

There is NO mention of that switch in the manual! I found it purely by chance when trying to figure out how to turn those downlighters on not off.
Glad to have helped as I feel that is the whole purpose of forums such as this.
