Little tap things by water pump input on outside of Carvan!?

Hi, does anyone know what the exact purpose of two small plastic tap type things are. They're by the water pump inlet.

Thanks in advance,

Noaman

Noaman, Guessing the type of inlet fitted I think you are refering to the water pump connector retainers.

NORMAN, as ray has already stated the little white things that look like taps are simply to hold your pump in to the holder. they are very fiddeley but need to be used to stop the pump working loose.

as has been said they are small lugs that when you fit pump into housing top one pushes down bottom one pushes up (i use small screwdriver)as tokeep the pump in place
