I am sorry to read of the continuing difficulties brought about by the HA repariers.
I am a governor at two schools, and I know the disruption a controlled removal of asbestos causes, so having an unplanned removed must be pretty devastating.

I hope the removal team do a thorough job. I also hope that all the memoentos from your travels can be decontaminated.
