Hi I have inherited an lmc exquisit VIP 685 caravan i own a ssangyong saracen with a stage 2 plate can anyone tell me if I'm legally allowed to tow this rig in the uk
I have a C1+e license

You have a conflict between the two VIN plates - they have different rear axle limits and towing limits.

You also need to check the external body length of the caravan - if it's over 7.00m it can't be towed in the UK by that towcar.

You will usually find these used as statics and permanently left all year on sites. The so called travelling community usually tow them with pick up trucks that have double wheels each side at the rear, capable of handling MTLP of 2200 kg . You often see Builders with these with Diggers on trailers on tow.
