London caravan site

Hi,

Thinking of going to London next Easter from Scotland, I'am member of both Caravan Club and Camping & Caravan Club will have two girl teenagers in tow.

Bryan,

Abbey wood Caravan club site is an excellent site, just a bus ride from the city. Also an excellent site for visiting Greenwich. Plenty to see and do.

Hertford CCC site is OK, open all year. Is out of the hustle and bustle of London and within 15min walk of railway station for trains into Liverpool Street. And coming from Scotland could save you up to an hours drive as it is north of London.

We have stayed at the Commons Wood Caravan Club Site at Welwyn Garden City and got the train into London from Hatfield station. The advantage of this site is that being north of the capital it is easier for those from the north to get to with the caravan.

Hi Bryan, just came back from Abbey Wood the site is excellent with one of the best toilet blocks I have ever come across, however some pitches did need leveling blocks. Its a ten minute walk to the station, it took about 35mins to the city and trains were every ten minutes or so. Fares to the city cost either
