Planning to Visit the above site in April. Any views from people that have stayed there would be much appreciated.

Resently stayed at the Rowntree Park in York. Parked the car on Thursday and never moved it till we went home as everything is in walking distance.

This is a really nice site, just behind the stately home, as you drive in you pass the front of the house and follow the one way system in. The usual amenities of a Caravan Club site are there.

At night you can hear the roar of the animals but you need your car to go around the safari park, the house and attached attractions are within walking distanse of the site.

We go there each year for a weekend.

Excellent caravan club site, big money spent improving facilities, wardens very friendly, go there, and, awake to the sound of the lions roaring.

Lovely site, come out of the site and it is a short stroll to Longleat House. If you want to go to the safari park I would suggest taking the bus. Lots of things to do.

Word of warning-- keep away from the steps upto the front door of the house, the booming recorded voice saying "Keep away from the front of the house" scared the daylights out of us trying to pose for a photo. Top tip get "the season ticket" for all of the attractions and then just do a couple each day. Brilliant !

One of the best sites we have stayed at with children. Loads to do, all-in pass is excellent value. No extra charge for the horse trials. Fishing superb.

Excellent site. We had a great holiday there 3 years ago. I think the facilities have been upgraded since then. Much to do with or without kids.
