Lord B. the more I see and hear of you the more it would appear that we have very similar interests - steam engines, classic British vehicles and now the love of nature and the countryside. Now if I could change your views to the love of the Welsh it would be great. However not all things or persons are perfect - we all have our little idiosynchrasies in the wardrobe. Incidently I have tried double clicking but am told that the web page cannot be shown - any ideas? Damn good photos and marvellous patience to lay in wait for the right time.

Hi The double clicking now works with some excellent details on the photograpghy - the only one that did not work was the one where you are sitting waiting for food - that is understandable as I only have a 15" monitor so it could not fit it all in. How enthusiastic are you in photography and what camera do you use? keep up the interesting photos, OK I know I said no to photos on this web site but you have stuck to the original idea of photos and not abused it - well done sir.

Brora - Highlands. To the left of our caravan is the gate that crosses the golf course which leads onto a long sandy beach. Mind the Arctic Terns if they are breeding else you will get dive-bombed.

I have just taken a look putfile and I see that it stipulates that it can use any pictures put on the site for other uses. I see that you have left yourself wide open (tut, tut, LB) by showing your number plate. It is adviseable that you cancel this pic and put it on again with your number plate covered? Pays to be careful!!!

What a great new toy in being able to provide pictures on the forum. I suppose when the novilty has worn off the forum will get back to normality with some sensible, useful and witty postings. Not the grumbles of a miserable old man or Victor Meldrew just the thoughts of a mere individual.

Lord B. so far the posting of pictures on the forum has been to a high standard and everybody has respected the original concept of these photos ie. the system has to date not been abused. The point I was making in my later posting is that now no matter which topic heading is opened it is smothered with postings containing photos. I am not having a go at any individual and as Ann states live and let live. As far as being very young as suggested by Cris I can assure you that I am slightly out of that stage having now like you taken early retirement. Regarding your photos they are very good and the deatil in them is bordering on professionalism (that is a compliment, please don't think of it as a backhanded dig). You did not however state whate camera you are using. I have a Fuji Finepix E510 digital camera - a good camera but eats batteries as if they are going out of fashion.
