No I'm not a professional photographer Colin. The camera I took those pics with is a 3.2mp Casio 3000EX and it did take excellent pics. I like to think I have a good eye for a nice pic but the beauty of it is now the camera does lie, they can be edited in a Digital Imaging programme. The camera I have just bought, but not yet used, is a 9mp Fuji FinePix S9500. It will allow me to be drastic in my cropping, which I need for my Now and Then pics, also good for macro photography. I dont know if this will work but I will load a pic I took and the same one after getting rid of the dross. If you look you will see I have cloned out the roof of the 4x4, the fence and the crows.

Lord B

You're making me jealous. Those highland shots looks like you found paradise.

What's the CC site like at Brecon, I know it doesn't have toilets. Would you recommend it for a few nights?

Yes I would Lisa, if you are prepared to use your own facilities. Next door theres a CL which would work out cheaper and I believe you can pitch alongside the river.

Do you know what the cl is called? We go to Brecon quite a bit, (only been once in the van though). Went in October last year and paid about

I have just taken a look putfile and I see that it stipulates that it can use any pictures put on the site for other uses. I see that you have left yourself wide open (tut, tut, LB) by showing your number plate. It is adviseable that you cancel this pic and put it on again with your number plate covered? Pays to be careful!!!
That's OK then.

LordB, did you meet a well worldly travelled old guy call Bob in Brora? He would have been in a pub!

Have you been to Ireland with the van and dogs? If not you would love it if you like Scotland.

I intend to go to Ireland as soon as Her Ladyship finishes work cris. I need her to keep working to keep me in the manner I am accustomed and also to organise my serfs ;O)

Dont normally use pubs cris - I dont drink that much unless we pop in for a lunch, but no, never met Bob. There is a member of this forum who goes to Brora regularly, they have relatives there. I cant remember who it is though :O(

Was it Brynich? Ive looked at that site but didnt like it, too many vans. The CL is the first one listed in the CL section under Powys, Aberbran Fach Farm. Its says they have ehu but if you need that I wouldnt think you could pitch right next to the river. Its worth a phone call though.
Sssssssshhh, yes it was.
