we are looking to book a few days away at this park,has anyone been here?and what can we expect in terms of noise at night ect!!

Hi gents. we stayed at the park with our tourer (seasonal) for two years and couldnt find fault. Clean toilets and showers, well stocked little shop,pleasant bar and restaurant, nice little river runs through site with fishing and pleasant walks. There are a couple of playgrounds for the kids. the site is patrolled through the night by wardens in cars and we were never disturbed by rowdiness. although the site is close to motorway, it is quiet and shielded by trees. If you are looking for a base for going into the lakes the site is a bit of a trek, but is handy for Penrith. Nice site.

Hi Jim, agree with Deejay, the only thing ti watch out for is most of the pitches are amongst trees which can block out a lot of sunlight, however, it does give you a back to nature feel!
