LPG bottle level indicators

Does anyone use the Truma Levelcheck device or one of the similar ultrasonic probes ?

If so how good are they and do they work equally well on butane as on propane (I suspect the answer is 'yes' but all the adverts seem to refer only to propane.

Also do they work with non metallic gas bottles or those made from non magnetic material (Some Spanish bottles are non magnetic stainless steel)

Hello Ray,

It should work with any steel cylinder, where there is a liquid level. so its not restricted to LPG, you could us it on oil or water cylinders. View Truma's website video
