LPG Sticker on Gas Locker

Is it law to have a Red LPG sticker on your the caravan gas locker my van is 3 yr old which I bought in Germany.

I don't think it's law on a privately owned caravan because there are plenty built without one.

I might be suggested that it's a good safety feature but almost all Fire & Rescue personnel would expect LPG in a caravan.

It won't do any harm to have an LPG sticker.

There is a requirement for a LPG sticker on the gas locker.

Similarly there is a requirement for one on any vehicle carrying LPG on board, even if that is your car and is used to carry LPG cylinders at times.

Which legislation requires LPG stickers on caravans?

There's no requirement to have an LPG sticker on a dual-fuel car.

Next time I get the manuals out I will look for it.

It is somewhere in the Gas Safety regs or H&S regs.

I think Damian is right, when i had my car converted to LPG i was told by Milbrook that the stickers had to be fitted to my car by law, i had a little LPG sticker under the filler cap and a duel fuel sticker on the boot.

I was told not to remove them as its a legal requirement.

According to information from the Health and Safety Executive, LPG powered vehicles are exempt from a requirement to be marked as such.
