Evening all.
Thinking of buying a 2011 Lunar Conquest 524. Does anyone have any opinions, strong or otherwise, on this model of van, good or bad. It's the classic end bathroom side dinette the that we like, very similar to our very tired 1998 Elddis Knightsbridge 520 4. We will pop up to Exeter tomorrow to give it the once over. Tow car is 2006 Volvo XC70 185 BHP so a perfect match.

Nice caravan but you do realise that Lunar are in administration. So although it’s well out of damp warranty if you were to require any Lunar specific parts such as body panels that might be a problem. We bought a van from a well known Exeter outlet near M5 and their 12 month insurance backed warranty excluded plastic body panels as do most others.

But if the price is right and th e caravan has been well looked after with a service history it would make a nice touring van.

They are a good van, but like any second hand purchase make sure you have a recent damp test that is clear and check everything is working.
Given the age I doubt you would get any panels for any make from the builder, but a firm called Caravan Panels can supply them if needed.
