Lunar Quasar 525 - good buy?

I'm thinking of buying a Lunar Quasar 525 and have 3 different ones I've seen for sale:

1. brand new with 6 year warranty - £14.5k including a great awning

2. 2007 from a dealer - £10k plus extra for an awning

3. 2006 private sale - £9.3k including 2 awnings

I would appreciate any advice as to which deal to go for, or whether any other twin dinette (end bedroom) leightweight van would be better? Thanks, Dai

I have the Lunar Quasar 525 I bought it new in 2007 my wife and I use it as a fixed bed by making up the double at the rear,when we have the grand children with us we use the front double so its a versatile van.We have had no trouble with the van whatsoever, it took us a little time to work out how to work the fridge ( us old folk ).My only criticism is the toilet is little tight but im a big bloke.I cant tell you what year is best for you but if the 2oo7 is like new youd be saving 4.5k which is alot of petrol and a lot of site fees, also the first owner has taken the biggest hit on the depreciation.Whatever you decide good luck.
