Lydney Forest of Dean anyone stayed here please

we are thinking of going to Whitemead Forest Park, Lydney Gloucestershire in the near future has any one stayed here please and can give us some idea on what its like, Thanks Peter.

You can only go if you are member of the CSMA or the guest of a member who is staying at the same time as you.

This site has everything you will ever need, and it a reasonable price. Go there! This is not an exhaustive list, but it has a good shop, clubhouse, bar, indoor pool, jacuzzi, gym, sauna, steam room, beauty therapist, kids' soft play area, restaurant, etc etc.

There is fabulous mountain biking available in the Forest, from gentle family rides to challenging trails. Good for walking, and great for twitchers.

It's about 30 minutes away from the Severn Bridge.

Be aware that it gets fully booked at peak periods, e.g. Easter is usually fully booked before Christmas, and you've got little hope of getting on for Spring Bank Hol weekend.
