Even though I’m not on FB I can sort of open it and see the still photo, which captures autumn beautifully.
It’s a shame you can’t access the
whole video taken from an aircraft. The views of the old and new road are brilliant. May be one your youngsters could sort it for you😉

I have tried to download a video from FB, but it seems an ext is not recognised?
 
The Hot Air Balloon route, now being replaced, is the bypass for the original Birdlip Hill which ran down the escarpment from Birdlip village directly to the A46 - back in the '70s it was quicker to go up/down the old Birdlip Hill rather than detour via Hot Air Balloon, perhaps still is - but not with a caravan, too steep and narrow for most.
