Mag Subscription

Evening all

My wife rang up and paid for the PC mag subscription mid Jan.
What we failed to ask was when the first mag will be delivered!
Anyone got an idea from experience?

Should be fairly soon but could be up to nearly 4 weeks, but it will likely be the April edition.
The edition that comes out in Feb is for March, and subscribers usually get the next one ahead.

I would add that despite the gesture from your wife I gave up on PC Pro as it is too much designed for the business reader/system or network manager. The good bit is that if you don't like it you can call the provider and change to a different magazine IME free of charge. Also if you run to the end of the year don't bother to renew. Unless you do something else to jog their collective memory it will keep coming for ages - I think mine went on for four years after I told them to stop. I did the silly thing of asking for a free copy of another magazine from the same publisher and PC Pro ceased thereafter.
