Mains vacuum cleaner for caravan

Hi,

I'd like a light weight small mains power vacuum cleaner for the caravan. Most of them are about 1600 watts - can anyone advise if this would be too much power for most sites??

I split the responsibility's of the vacuuming between two devices. The first a rechargeable brush sweeper, good for pet hairs/small pieces and a small mains powered vacuum (as cheap as I could find) for when dust becomes a problem. Finding one that does both, has been a challenge indeed.

BTW 1600W should be ok to use in a caravan although sites that only supply 6 amps could turn out to be a problem.

I am about to buy the Black & decker VH780, it was highly rated by Which, to keep in the caravan. I'd be very interested to know how well it performs, before I buy one.
