manual pressure button for thetford toilet flush not working!

Hi there! We have a Lunar Stellar 2004 and suddenly the thetford toilet flush manual pressure button has failed.Checked waste tank compartment and presume its electrical / fuse fault but can't work out how to access etc or is this a job for the dealer etc? Many thanks if anyone kind enought to reply Martin

First thing to check is the fuse, depending which model toilet it is determines where the fuse is.

If it is a pedestal model the fuse will be in the cassete compartment on the left hand side near the access door.

If it is a bench model, the fuse is at arms length on the underside of the blade operating mechanism and is a small round fuse holder with a glass fuse inside.

If its a pedestal model the way to get at the pump is to lift the surround that the your push button sits in. It is a none setting adhesive that you can prise open, you can then see into the water tank, the pump and all the pipework is now on show.First as Damian said check the fuse and that tha contacts are clean.
