Has anyone tried 3M marine fibre glass restorer and cleaner on their van ?. Its the front and back panels that seem to need something to bring them up again and saw this advertised.
 
I'd be careful, personally, as caravan GRP isn't anywhere near the high specification used for marine purposes - the last thing you want is a clean hole!
 
Yes, I used it on my 1998 Avondale. It required the application of a lot of elbow grease as well, and did restore a shine but not as good as the original. Mainly because the original had a gel coat which had been worn away over the years. The shine needs to be protected with several layers of good wax or you loose it again.
