Mercedes new 4x4

Twice in lasy two months in Spain have seen new Mercedes 4x4 like G wagon only smaller with 220 cdi badges on back. Cannot find it on any MB website. Anyone know about it ?
 
Hi Ray S, the car you are talking about sounds like a Mercedes GLK, its not new been out for a couple of years, but Mercedes wont bring it into the UK at present as the 4 wheel drive system complicates right hand drive production.
That will all change as they now want to compete in the X3,LR Freelander and Q5 market so a 2 wheel drive model might be in the offing but not until facelift.
Nice looking car though based on the c class platform and big inside.

If it's not sold in the UK then this is marketing policy that has nothing to do with right hand drive production. The GLK is built in right hand drive form as well.
 
The GLK was not available for the UK market due to the difficulties involved in fitting the right-hand drive steering mechanism around the propshafts taking drive to the front wheels.
The face lifted model will be available for the UK market
