I have a series 6 bailey pageant bretagne with a daewoo microwave , i used it myself yesterday to warm some food for 2mins and everything fine then my wife used it 7 mins today and i thought the van was on fire but only smoke with a bad plastic smell, we had a look at it but nothing burned and it still works.

the only thing i can think of is it overheated because there is not much ventilation around it . Anybody had similar issues with a microwave . took top panel off but still cant get it out ?
 
Unless the container your wife used was unsuitable for microwaves it doesn't sound good. Can you say for sure whether the smoke came from the cooking area? If you cannot, I would say you need to get the microwave checked out or replaced. I'm sure your Bailey dealer will be able to help, if only with getting the old one out.
 
Then I would say it's imperative it's investigated further. Obviously something got too hot, for whatever reason. If it were mine, I'd be speaking to Bailey.
