With all this dreich weather I have been cabined up indoors. Put box on and watched the winter Olympics. Strangely enough i enjoyed it, although I am not really a sporty person. Anyone else watch it?

Yes we have been watching some of the events like curling, figure skating, and some of the aerobatics on skis and snowboards.
Will be watching on my own for six days as my wife and daughter are off to the Highlands. Early start for me tomorrow (0400) to get them transported away. Fridge all stocked up, granddaughter has invited me for supper Mon-Wed. Just me and the hound.

I remember taking our boys ice skating, when this very talented guy got onto the rink and was whizzing around,,avoiding everyone,,turns , really fantastic, almost everyone cleared from the ice, to watch him, eventually he stopped grabbed the barrier and looked around and announced to everyone, "This is my first time on the ice" a big cheer from everyone.
There’s no Olympics on now, very poor show 😰 Even the pooch doesn’t want to know me.
You could have tried catch-up TV, or a spoon full of liver paté between your toes to get the pooches attention.
