Has anyone else had problems with these not fitting certain mirrors? I have recently purchased these ( never used them ) and then changed my car to a 2009 Citroen c5 tourer . They do not seem secure at all and are easily pulled off.Has anyone any advice or tips? I was thinking of trying flexi foam between the pads.

Hello Richard,

I have had a thread running on Flat or Covex mirrors, specifically the Grand Aeros, and have had quite a few helpful comments from the members. I also contacted Milenco direct and had a helpful reply from thier Nicky Ward. Can I suggest you contact them by e-mail and ask for thier comments on your problem. You can contact them at ... enquiries@milenco.com

All the reviews on these mirrors have been extremely complimentary, but it may be that there is a problem with your specific vehicle.

Best regards,

George

I used them on the X Trail as far as the first road junction and then I turned round and took them back to the shop as they vibrated so much

The standard aero are OK on the XT though

They don't fit well on the new Sorento KX, they stop the glass from being adjusted, but that should not be a big problem, just set the mirrors right before you fit them.

Dear All,

Aside from a Mercedes G-Class, we've never had a lot of trouble with either the Grand Aero or the Aero mirrors. As others have said, we've had to reverse the fittings or undersling them for different models of car, but generally, they've been made to fit.

We are using them at the Towcar Awards judging in two weeks time so I'll let you know if we struggle to get them on any of the 40 or so cars we are testing. Good to find out what cars people have struggled to fit mirrors to.

Cheers

I contacted Milenco direct who sent me a photo and instructions to reverse one of the fittings. This produced a much more secure fit to the sloping mirror on the C5. I have not towed with them yet but they appear to be very secure now the change to the fittings has been done. I would recommend contacting the manufacturer direct if anyone has similar problems

Richard
